Telehealth<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Telehealth appointments can be arranged at no additional cost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cancellation Policy<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Speech Guy & Co. maintains the right to charge a cancellation fee of 90% of the above rate if a booked session is cancelled with less than 48 hours\u2019 notice. The travel cost may also be charged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why are there different fees for different funding programs?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We agree that it can be confusing!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recently, some funding schemes (e.g. NDIS) have had prices frozen or cut. This has made it increasingly difficult to have a consistent fee schedule across all funding schemes. As such, we have needed to adjust our pricing schedule in order to ensure that we can continue to provide services sustainably and fairly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite these changes, all fees are set in accordance with relevant funding frameworks and industry standards:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • NDIS rates follow the current NDIS Pricing Arrangements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • NIISQ and WorkCover Queensland rates are aligned with the current WorkCover Queensland Allied Health Table of Costs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Private, health fund, and Support at Home clients are charged at rates consistent with market norms for allied health professionals in Australia, reflecting the level of expertise, administrative time, and travel involved.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    All fees will be periodically reviewed to ensure compliance, fairness and sustainability. We thank you for your understanding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Rebates & Funding<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    We are able to accept the following rebate or funding programs:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Medicare – Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDMP)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) – Plan and self-managed clients<\/li>\n\n\n\n

    • Support at Home Program<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • WorkCover Queensland<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • National Injury Insurance Scheme Queensland (NIISQ)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Please note that gap payments may apply (i.e. for CDMP and Private Health Funds).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
